I have a Newfoundland that has separation anxiety, she would pull on her leash, not listen to commands, and bark excessively when seeing other dogs or having visitors in our home. Now I have a Newfoundland that is well behaved, walks next to me, listens to commands, and stops barking when I ask. Initially I was worried that having her with the trainer (Luis) for 2 weeks would change her loving and affectionate personality. It did not change her personality at all! "Katie did an amazing job during our puppy's 2 week board and train. Our puppy is a very energetic 5 month old and it was nearly impossible to get him to focus on us for more than a few seconds. "Off Leash K9 was the best thing for my dog. After trying pet store obedience, I knew my dog needed more. He came to me as a stray with major fear issues, causing him to not be able to go on walks or in public without being afraid of everything he heard. After working with our trainer Jake, I can now walk my dog anywhere with no worries about his running away scared and without needing any reinforcements. "I can't say enough good things about the team at Off Leash K9 NoVa. On a whim I scheduled a puppy consult with Carrie at the end of 2020 - I had a 10 week old puppy and I felt overwhelmed.
