Frequently Asked Questions
How long does dog training take to see results?
Training time depends on the selected program and the dog’s needs. The current website lists eight-week private programs, several two-week Board & Train options, and a three-week on-leash Reactivity Board & Train. Progress and maintenance also depend on the dog, the training goals, and the owner’s consistency after professional training. Review the current plans and pricing for current program details.
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?
The Aggressive Dog Training Program is an eight-week program that combines basic obedience with desensitization work around other dogs and real-life triggers. The three-week Reactivity Board & Train provides intensive on-leash training for eligible dogs with human or dog reactivity, anxiety, or aggression. Results vary, and no program can guarantee the complete elimination of every behavioral concern.
What training methods do you use?
Training methods vary by program. Applicable obedience and Board & Train programs may use an e-collar and training leash to develop communication and off-leash control. Marker Mastery™ uses marker or clicker-based positive reinforcement without e-collars or prong collars. Behavior-focused programs combine structured obedience with desensitization and controlled exposure to relevant triggers.
Is my dog too old or too young for training?
The website states that puppies can begin age-appropriate training as early as eight weeks through available puppy course and consultation options. Training recommendations for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs depend on age, health, behavior history, training goals, and program eligibility.
